Internet Safety & Bullying
Resources for Parents and Students
The Schools Most Valuable Asset: Our Students
Something that Parents, Teachers, and all school community members do agree on, is the importance of protecting and keeping students safe when on-line. Technology advances has changed the platform of the Internet from static to more of a read write web, or a collaborative medium. With our students safety being our first priority, the purpose of this page and its links to various resources, is to provide information to help keep our students safe on-line!
Our Computers are an integral part of our information hub for our school district, and as we emphasize the need to use caution when working on-line, we do not want to discourage the use of the internet and the many rich resources made available for all of us through this technology.
The National Education Technology Standards:
http://www.iste.org/standards/nets-for-students/nets-student-standards-2007.aspx

-
-Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, and Decision Making
-
-Digital Citizenship
-
-Technology Operations and Concepts
Using the above listed topics and standards as our guide, we will find many resources on the web that will help us as we move toward 21st Century Learning with our students.
